| Welcome to Chelford and Alderley Speakers | |

We are a club dedicated to furthering the skills of Public Speaking in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. We meet every second Thursday from September to May, at the Drum & Monkey, Alderley Edge, Cheshire. We gather in the lounge bar at 7.30 pm for a 7.45 pm start. We have a private room, and during the interval we have coffee and sandwiches served to us. Our Mission
We are a group of people of different ages and outlooks but with a shared interest in improving our own Public Speaking abilities. We meet together on a regular basis to help each other to master the art of effective speaking.
Club Profile
One of the main incentives for joining our club is to improve your overall confidence and become proficient in a very important ‘life skill’. Effective speaking can help you in all aspects of your lives, whether it is :
- · making a presentation at work
- · interviewing staff
- · selling our ideas or products
- · giving a vote of thanks
- · introducing a guest speaker at your local club or association
